Shenzhen Metro (深圳地铁)

The Shenzhen Metro is a rapid transit system for the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong province, China. The Shenzhen Metro is the fourth longest metro system in China and the fourth longest in the world, despite opening on 28 December 2004. The network currently consists of 547.42 kilometers (340.15 mi) of routes, operating on 16 lines with 369 stations. The Shenzhen Metro has had a transformative impact on urban mobility, playing a key role in the development of Shenzhen as a major economic and technological hub in China.
