Chongqing Metro (重庆轨道交通)

Chongqing Rail Transit (CRT) is an important component of Chongqing's urban infrastructure, providing a comprehensive and efficient rapid transit system for the city's residents and visitors. In operation since 2005, it serves the transportation needs of the city's main business and entertainment areas of the city and the inner suburbs. The system consists of five lines and 119 stations, and the system starts operating at 06:30 every day. Lines 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, the Loop Line and the Jiangtiao Line are conventional heavy-rail metro lines, Lines 2 and 3 are high-capacity monorail.
