Line 1 Overview
Line 1 is Shenzhen's first metro line. Construction began in 1999, and the first phase opened on December 28, 2004, between Luohu and Window of the World. The line runs in an east-west direction, connecting Luohu to Airport East. It covers a total distance of 41 kilometers and has 30 stations. It also connects to other metro lines at important interchange stations such as Luohu, Grand Theatre, and Window of the World.
