Nanjing Metro (南京地铁)

The Nanjing Metro, inaugurated on September 3, 2005, has developed into a comprehensive urban transportation network serving the vibrant capital of eastern China's Jiangsu province. Its initial line, Line 1, extends from Maigaoqiao in the north to Andaman in the south. The Nanjing Metro is designed for seamless integration with other transportation modes, increasing the overall efficiency of the city's transit network. The current system has 13 lines and 218 stations running on 498.66 km of track. It is operated and maintained by Nanjing Metro Group Company. Future expansion plans include 30 lines opening over the next few years.
