M3 Line Overview
Construction of the M3 line began in 2006, and its first phase was officially opened on June 14, 2013, between Kirazlı and Başakşehir-Metrokent. The line was subsequently expanded in several phases, including the Kayasehir extension in 2023 and the Bakırköy Bay extension in 2024. The line is 26.7 kilometers long and has 20 stations. This line also provides interchange with the M1B, M7, and M9 metro lines at stations such as Kirazlı, Mahmutbey, and Ikitelli Sanayi.
