M1 Line Overview
The M1B is the western branch of the Istanbul Metro Line M1. This branch was constructed in phases following the original M1 corridor and provides service from Otogar to Kirazlı. It runs from Yenikapı to Kirazlı as part of the 26.8-kilometer-long M1 system. The M1B also provides interchange connections with Marmaray, Metrobus, and the M3 metro line, making transfers to Istanbul's rail network more convenient.
