The branch line opened on 26 July 2009. It branches off from Tseung Kwan O station and runs to LOHAS Park station. Trains run between LOHAS Park and the main line, and during peak hours some direct trains go to North Point, while at other times passengers may need to change trains at Tseung Kwan O or Tiu Keng Leng.
