Kayabacho is an underground interchange station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya and Tozai lines. Service on the Hibiya Line began on February 28, 1963, and on the Tozai Line on September 14, 1967. The platforms of both lines cross, and the station is located in the major commercial area of Nihombashi.
