Nakano Station Overview
Nakano is an elevated interchange station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and the JR East Chuo Line. Tokyo Metro service began on March 16, 1966, while JR began service much earlier. It is the western terminus of the Tozai Line and provides connections to trains on the Chuo and Chuo-Sobu Lines.
