Xi'an Metro (西安地铁)

Xi'an Metro, also known as Xi'an Rail Transit, is a rapid transit system in the city of Xi'an and the neighboring city of Xianyang in Shaanxi province, China. Xi'an Metro began operations on September 16, 2011. The inaugural Line 2 marked the beginning of Xi'an's metro system, extending approximately 26.5 kilometers and connecting the high-tech development zone in the east with the western areas of the city. Currently 9 lines are operational. Equipped with modern facilities and efficient services, the metro system has not only reduced traffic congestion but also contributed to the city's sustainable development goals.
