Little India MRT Station Overview
Little India is an underground interchange station on the North East Line and Downtown Line of Singapore's MRT network, located in the Little India area on the border of Kallang. It connects both lines and provides easy access to major cultural sites such as the Tekka Centre and the Little India district. The station was opened in two phases, first for the North East Line in 2003 and later for the Downtown Line in 2015. The station is the 6th station on the North East Line from HarbourFront and the 12th station from Punggol Coast.
