Chinatown MRT Station Overview
Chinatown is an underground station on the North East Line (NEL) of Singapore's MRT network, located in the Chinatown area of central Singapore. It is an interchange station connecting the North East Line (NEL) and the Downtown Line (DTL). It was opened in two phases, first for the North East Line on 20 June 2003 and later for the Downtown Line on 22 December 2013. The station is the 3rd station on the North East Line from HarbourFront and the 15th from Punggol Coast.
