Line 2 Overview
Line 2 is a north–south line with a total length of 30.9 kilometres, starting from Jiahe in Huiji District and ending at Nansihuan in Guancheng, with 22 stations. It interchanges with Line 1 at Zijingshan. The first phase of this line, between Liuzhuang and Nansihuan, opened on August 19, 2016. This section was approximately 20.6 kilometers long and had 16 stations. Later, the northern extension from Liuzhuang to Jiahe opened on December 28, 2019, adding six more stations and increasing the route to approximately 10.2 kilometers. According to future plans, after the completion of Line 9, the southern terminal of Line 2 will be Shibalihe, which currently operates as a station on the Chengjiao Line.
