Union Station Overview

Union Metro Station is an underground interchange station on the Red Line and Green Line of the Dubai Metro. The station opened in two phases: first on 9 September 2009 (Red Line) and second in 2011 (Green Line). Located beneath Union Square in Deira, it is one of the largest underground metro stations in the world. It has consistently been one of the busiest stations on the entire Dubai Metro network, connecting major parts of the city via both lines. This station is the 8th station on the Red Line from Centerpoint and the 28th station from Expo 2020.
