Shiraz Metro ()
Shiraz Metro is a rapid transit system in Iran, operated by Shiraz Urban Railways Organization. Shiraz Metro has 6 lines. As of 2023, Lines 1 and 2 are operational, Line 3 is under construction, and the remaining 3 lines are in various stages of design and planning. Construction of Line 1 was started in 2001, and the first phase for this line was officially launched on 11 October 2014 by Vice President Ishaq Jahangiri. At the 13.5 km southern end of Line 1, two separate tunnels were built, each 6 meters in diameter, with the rest built as double track cut-ends. Cover the tunnel. Stations in shallow underground sections have side platforms, while stations in deeper levels have island platforms.
