Line 8 Overview
The northern section of Line 8 opened on December 24, 2020, between Jiaozhou North Railway Station and Qingdao North Railway Station. An additional station at Jiaodong International Airport opened in July 2021. The line is 48.3 kilometers long and serves 11 stations. The line includes important stations such as Jiaodong Airport, Hongdao Railway Station, and Qingdao North Railway Station, which is a major interchange hub in the network. The southern section of the line is still under construction and is expected to extend service to central urban districts.
