New Tram Line is an automated guided transit line of the Osaka Metro system that connects Cosmosquare Station to Suminoekoen Station. The first phase of the line, connecting Nakafuto and Suminoekoen, opened on March 16, 1981. The line was later extended from Nakafuto to Cosmosquare on December 18, 1997. The line is 7.9 kilometers long and has 10 stations. Major interchange stations include Cosmosquare Station, which connects to the Chuo Line, and Suminoekoen Station, which connects to the Yotsubashi Line, making it easy to switch to another line.
