Taoyuan Metro (桃园捷运)
Taoyuan Metro is a rapid transit system that serves the city of Taoyuan, as well as New Taipei City and parts of Taipei City, in Taiwan. Since its inauguration on March 2, 2017, the metro system has played a significant role in shaping the connectivity and accessibility of the region. The current network consists of 11 lines and extensions, of which 2 are under construction. Taoyuan Airport MRT is the only line currently in operation. With modern facilities, technological advancements and expansion plans, Taoyuan Metro not only increases daily commuting, but also establishes Taoyuan as a hub of efficient, sustainable and well-connected urban life.
