Tabriz Metro (Tabriz Urban and Suburban Railway)
Tabriz Metro is a rapid transit system that serves the city of Tabriz, located in the northwestern region of Iran. It is a rapid transit system. The first phase started on 28 August 2015 with 7 km length and 6 stations. The second phase opened in 2016 and extended from Ostad Shahriyar station in the west to Medan-e Saat station. The line was finally completed in February 2020 with a further western extension and now runs 17.2 km from El Goli to Nour with 12 stations. With its well-designed infrastructure and commitment to service, the Tabriz Metro makes a significant contribution to enhancing public transportation in the region, providing a reliable and time-efficient mode of travel for Tabriz's growing population.
