Lima Metro (Metro de Lima)
The Lima and Callao Metro is a rapid transit system serving the cities of Lima and Callao. The existing metro, Line 1, currently connects the Villa el Salvador district in the south of Lima to San Juan de Lurigancho in the north-east of the city. The Lima Metro has expanded its reach and continues to grow with ongoing projects aimed at meeting the growing demand for public transportation in this dynamic and bustling South American metropolis.
