Kobe Subway (神戸市営地下鉄)

The Kobe Municipal Subway is a rapid transit system in Japan. The subway network provides convenient transportation for residents and visitors, connecting various major areas of the city. The Kobe Municipal Subway began operations with the opening of the Seishin-Yamate Line on June 18, 1977, and the Kaigan Line later began its services on February 2, 1985. The Kobe Municipal Subway consists of two lines: the Seishin-Yamate Line and the Kaigan Line. The Seishin-Yamate Line, also known as the Blue Line, runs east-west and serves important locations such as Sannomiya, Shin-Kobe, and Tanigami. On the other hand, the Kaigan Line, also known as the Coastal Line or Green Line, extends along the coastline, connecting areas such as Harborland and Shin-Nagata.
