Genoa Metro (Metropolitana di Genova)

The Genoa Metro is a rapid transit consisting of a single line that connects the center of Genoa, Italy, with the suburb of Rivarolo Ligure, northwest of the city centre. The service is currently managed by Azienda Mobilità e Trasporti (AMT), which provides public transport for the city of Genoa. Operating as a single-line system, Line 1, the Genoa Metro efficiently traverses major areas of the city, providing residents and visitors with a convenient and streamlined method of transit. Featuring a reliance on Automated People Mover (APM) technology, the Metro embraces modernity and precision in its operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of Genoa's transport network. Metro stations with contemporary architectural designs not only serve as functional hubs but also contribute to the urban aesthetics of the city.
