Daegu Metro ()

The Daegu Metro is a subway system serving primarily the South Korean city of Daegu, operated by the Daegu Metropolitan Transit Corporation from 5:30 am to 0:00 am. Launched on 26 November 1997, the metro system has since become an integral part of the city's infrastructure, an important mode of transportation for its residents. Daegu Metro has three lines – Line 1, Line 2 and monorail Line 3 – connecting different districts and providing a convenient means of travel. With its modern facilities, technological advancements and strategic station locations, Daegu Metro not only meets the city's transportation needs, but also reflects Daegu's status as a dynamic and forward-looking metropolis.
