Belo Horizonte Metro (Metrô de Belo Horizonte)
The Belo Horizonte Metro, known as the "Metropolitano de Belo Horizonte" or "MetroBH", began operations on August 1, 1986, ushering in a new era of urban mobility in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte. The system consists of one 28.1-kilometre (17.5 mi) line serving 19 stations. This system is operated by Comparte Participações. Two more lines are planned. As the city's infrastructure has evolved, the Metro remains an integral part of daily commuting, demonstrating Belo Horizonte's commitment to sustainable urban transportation solutions.
