Daejeon Metro (대전 도시철도)

Daejeon Metro is a rapid transit system of Korea, operated by Daejeon Metropolitan Express Transit Corporation. Currently consists of one line, 22 operating stations and 22.74 kilometers (14.13 mi) of route. Since its inauguration on 16 March 2006, the metro system has become an important artery, connecting different localities and contributing to the efficiency of daily commutes. Consisting of two major lines, Line 1 and Line 2, the Daejeon Metro extends across the city. Line 1, extending from northwest to southeast through the city, and Line 2, connecting east and west, strategically serve the transportation needs of different districts.
